TVB used to have a “virgin club” consisting of Leanne Li (李亞男), Grace Wong (王君馨), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Eliza Sam (岑麗香). Christine is getting married soon and the virgin club is transforming into beautiful wives club now. On 16th June 2018, a new reported that Eliza rejected to renew contract with TVB and we only get to see Grace’s series for now.
33 years old Eliza won the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant in 2009 and went on to win the 2010 Miss Chinese International Pageant. She works for TVB many years and is promoted to “A grade” actress gradually. It is believed that the reason for refusing to renew her contract is related to Lau Ka Ho’s (劉家豪) new series. Eliza is given the female lead role initially and her filming partner is Vincent Wong (王浩信), but the female lead is changed to Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) suddenly.
In mid June, some news pointed that Eliza refused to renew her contract again and decide to have a baby. When asked about her whereabout, her good friends declined to reveal any details and Christine said: “I am actually at le mans in France with the racing team. Not so sure of that. Its better to leave it to Eliza to answer it herself.” Leanne said: “I am unsure about the details and you need to ask Eliza or TVB.” As for Grace, she replied: “It is best for Eliza to respond by herself.”
