Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam (林鄭月娥) responded about the illegal tickets sales by the black market this morning on 11th April 2018. She expressed Leisure and Cultural Services Department (康文署) will be analysing Hong Kong e-Legislation (公眾娛樂場所條例) and discussing about using the government’s space and increasing the fine imposed. She also mentioned about using real name method for ticket reservations. Leisure and Cultural Services Department was currently carrying out the pilot experience and it depended if the organisation committees was willing to collaborate as well.
As Andy Lau (劉德華) will be holding his concert to celebrate the countdown to 2019 in this year end, he urged everyone to buy from the authorised ticket office. Andy replied through the company upon knowing that Carrie responded about the ticket issue: “We will definitely support if the government is going to tackle the problem. Hopefully the ticket sales industry is able to develop in a healthy way quickly.”
