Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) was invited to the show (天下第一friend 2) hosted by Zheng Shaokang (鄭紹康) a few days ago. She revealed she suffered from tremendous pressure and cried during the shooting when joining showbiz initially. Fortunately, Nancy Sit (薛家燕), Francis Lam (林文龍) and Hawick Lau (劉愷威) came over to console her. Bernice worked in TVB for 10 years and became the “fadan” but decided to leave and venture in other places. She explained many incidents happened such as negative news and admitted into the hospital due to filming.
Bernice recalled that she had a locating shooting for a modern sitcom at the Central and had a lumbar spine fracture due to setting off on the wrong foot in high heels. She said: “At the time, the company asks if I can seek treatment at the hospital after filming the sitcom. Hence, I take the medicine and bear with the pain to film it. All staff know I have a hard time and must lean on something after the shooting.”
Bernice started to cry and worry that she could not dance after discovering that her right hand and leg had no reaction. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and she managed to walk but needed to go for physical therapy. During the resting period, Bernice pondered about her future, thought of ways to change and cherished the people surrounding her.
