Carina Lau acts as Tony Leung’s manager temporarily: It is for his own good

Tony Leung (梁朝偉) ended his 20 years collaboration with Jet Tone Film Production (澤東) peacefully a few days ago. His spouse, Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) acted as his manager temporarily and shared photo of Tony going for water surfing online.

Carina said while promoting the stage play (奪命証人) with Tse Kwan Ho (奪命証人) at the radio station on 25th June 2018: “I upload his photos from time to time and it is the best to become his manager for the time being. It is simple arrangement and he does not have too much work now. I can take care of him and it is for his own good.”

Carina explained that she acted as Tony’s manager temporarily and did not want to have close contact in terms of work. She was not worried about having conflicts as she understood his character after getting along for 30 years and it gave him a greater sense of security.

When asked if she requested him to accept more jobs, Carina said: “Nope but I will try to persuade him if there is a good opportunity. For example: I invite him to watch the rehearsal and performance of the stage play and it is considered fresh when working with Kwan Ho.”
