Engina Law (劉美娟) took the opportunity to release her new book (擁有失去) before Mother’s Day and promoted it at Tsim Sha Tsui on 10th May 2018. She revealed she started to work on her new book after her work as a radio DJ and the stories consisted of Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華), Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝) and Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍). Cecilia also mentioned about her relationship, marriage and career.
Cecilia stated that she needed to see Stephen Chow (周星馳) during the audition for King of Comedy (喜劇之王) film and he requested her to pretend the pen as a cigarette at the time. As there was a pack of cigarette on the table, she asked about using the real cigarette as she knew how to smoke. Stephen was shocked but allowed her to use it and Cecilia was recruited eventually. Subsequently, Stephen asked about her reaction and Cecilia told him it was impossible to use a pen as a cigarette during the real filming. Engina remarked Cecilia was a straightforward person.
Cecilia is a single parent and her parent were divorced she was 9 years old. Her mother wanted to take her away but her father disagreed and Cecilia took out her money from a biscuit tin under the bed to her mother. She wrapped the money with paper and wrote a message to her mother to live happily and take her away when she had the chance. Cecilia’s mother kept the paper until now.
Cecilia expressed her desire to get married again for her own sake but not for her two sons. Once, she brought Lucas to ice skating and he refused to learn it again after falling down. She then fell down several times purposely in order to show Lucas about the importance of getting up after falling down. Cecilia earned the admiration from Engina and being herself was the most important.
As for Bobby, they become good friends after filming Destined to Rebel (薛剛反唐) and File of Justice (壹號皇庭) drama which marked a turning point in his career. Bobby illustrated he was not considered good looking and always acted as a villain and dead person either with his eyes opened or his face looking at the sky upon joining showbiz. It was not difficult for him to act as a dead person and Bobby usually held his breath for two minutes after shooting the scene so as not to reprimand by the director.
Fortunately, Bobby managed to gain fame after filming File of Justice drama as he was considered a second or third grade actor after 10 years and planned to change line if remained unsuccessful. At the time, a chain of fashion boutiques working with the company was hiring staff and Bobby was interested to apply as the monthly wages was higher than working as an actor. He could be promoted to the branch manager.
