12th August was her old love, Kevin Cheng’s (鄭嘉穎) wedding day and Charmaine shared several photos of herself participating in Zhejiang Satellite television show (熟悉的味道) at 12pm on Weibo. As the show will be airing at 10pm on the same night, she urged everyone to watch it and and the main focus was her online message: “We cherish each other even in a faraway distance and experience overlapping experiences separately. I enjoy our relationship and we unite as one on the screen. Let us use our familiar feelings to extend further and face our perceptions of each other.”
Ever wondering what is Charmaine referring to unite as one? It turns out that the show invites Hong Kong voice dubbing staff (蘇柏麗) who specially does the voice dubbing for Charmaine’s dialogue in Mandarin. Earlier, TVB reduced the manpower in voice dubbing team and the staff were treated unfairly. Nevertheless, Charmaine used actions to show her supports in this industry.
