Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) acted as an evil empress in Story of Yanxi Palace (延禧攻略) and her brilliant acting skills received many compliments again. Earlier, she appeared in the variety show, Happy Camp (快樂大本營) with the cast team including Qin Lan (秦嵐), Wu Jinyan (吳謹言) and Kevin Xu (許凱) in ancient costumes. Other than playing games, Charmaine also sang the song (下一站天后) by Twins and her sweet voice won the liking from many netizens.
During the show, Charmaine was competing against Qin Lan and Jinyan and two hosts, Xie Na (謝娜) and Wu Xin (吳昕) in terms of singing. Charmaine received applauds from the audiences once she started to sing. Some netizen even remarked that Charmaine qualified as Ms Hong Kong who had beautiful looks and could act and sing well. They definitely would buy many copies if she was releasing an album. One netizen also shared an old video clip of Charmaine singing the song (甜蜜蜜) previously and she begun to laugh, as she was frightened by the sudden smoke emitting on the stage. Although it was an amusing scene, but she insisted to sing the whole song and was indeed a professional artiste.
