Chinese actresses’ rates for each drama are exposed

Hong Kong audiences love to watch Japanese, Korean and Chinese drama including Nothing Gold Can Stay (那年花開月正圓) starring Sun Li (孫儷) which is currently airing by TVB. East Week (東周網) also watches it and it is an interesting drama with good cast team members.

China is considered a big market with 1.3 billion population and there is many benefits for the artiste if the drama has good ratings record. Lately, one of the back end staff exposed a list of the most popular Chinese actresses’ wages (1 to 11) and they are paid $80 million (RMB) for each drama.

It is believed that Hong Kong people are familiar with Yang Mi (楊冪), Sun Li and Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) followed by Zhang Ziyi (章子怡), Bai Baihe (白百何), Angelababy (楊穎), Tang Wei (湯唯), Zanilia Zhao (趙麗穎), Dilraba Dilmurat (迪麗熱巴), Zheng Shuang (鄭爽) and Zhou Dongyu (周冬雨). In addition, that staff revealed Zanilia earned $5 million (RMB) easily from filming for one day due to gaining popularity after filming Princess Agents (楚喬傳) drama last year. No wonder, many artiste choose to venture their careers in China now.
