28 years old actor, Dickson Yu (余德丞) fell into a coma while playing football around 10pm and was admitted into ICU at Queen Mary hospital on 8th August 2018. At 8pm on 10th August, Dickson’s mother announced to the media that he had regained conscious and it was one step nearer to the recovery. He would see everybody again after completing the treatment and having a full recovery.
During the 46 hours of battling, many artiste, fans and netizens rooted for him and his good friend, Jarryd Tam (譚永浩), Yuri Chan (陳蕊蕊) and (徐玫晴) visited him at the hospital. Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) also turned up on the first night with Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯) around 3 plus in the morning. On the following day around 12.30pm, she appeared at the hospital again and rejected all interviews upon leaving.
Lastly, former TVB actress, Zee Lee (李雯希) was reprimanded by the netizens for speaking on behalf of Dickson’s mother without having the chance to see him at the hospital. Hence, TVB was pointed to forbid their artiste especially female celebrities who had rumours with Dickson to visit at the hospital in order to allow him having plenty of rest. East Week (東周網) also discovered TVB artiste, Kong Ka Man (江嘉敏) who was pointed to fall in love with Dickson had been feeling depressed for the past few days. She left symbols to give her blessings and root for him so as to show her concern.
