Dickson Yu reports his safety personally for the first time since he falls ill

TVB actor, Dickson Yu (余德丞) fell into a coma while playing football and was admitted into ICU at Queen Mary hospital earlier. Fortunately, he was in a stable condition and transferred to cardiology ward subsequently. On 21st August 2018, Dickson reported his safety personally through big big channel and his voice sounded full of energy: “Hello everybody, I am Dickson. I feel very lucky, grateful and happy that I manage to survive and speak to everyone personally. Thank you to all Hong Kong citizens showing concerns, sending regards and giving blessings to me. I realise it is a serious situation upon waking up as my heart stops for a long time when I am in a coma. I feel I am very fortunate and start to recover slowly. The doctor advices me to stay in the hospital for continuous monitoring before allowing me to discharge. Lastly, thank you to all medical staff in Queen Mary hospital and the football team for performing CPR on me immediately. In addition, thank you to my family members for supporting and preparing food for me daily. Thank you to all TVB colleagues and media as well. Hopefully I will be discharged from the hospital soon and let everyone know if there is any latest updates. Remember, health is the most important.”
