28 years old Dickson Yu (余德丞) fell into a coma while playing football and was admitted into ICU at Queen Mary hospital in August. Fortunately, he managed to regain conscious and report his safety through an interview last week. He sounded energetic and it looks like Dickson can be discharged from the hospital soon.
Dickson’s rumoured girlfriend, Kong Ka Man (江嘉敏) appeared down and depressed while filming Assassin (殺手) drama with Moses Chan (陳豪) at the Central earlier. As he would be discharge soon, Ka Man went for facial treatment as a last minute resort in order to welcome him back.
During the interview, Dickson described it resembled a life and death encounter and his heart beat stopped halfway. He felt very grateful overall: “I only know it is very serious upon waking up as my heart beat stops for some time during the coma. I feel fortunate that I manage to regain conscious and recover slowly everyday. I begin to feel energetic and the doctor advises me to stay in the hospital for further observation, and I can be discharged if everything is okay.”
