Eliza Sam (岑麗香) ended her contract with TVB in mid June and she was rumoured to leave because of baby plan at the time. It turned out that she joined the company invested by Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) and Shaw Brothers Studio (邵氏) as an artiste and filmed an advertisement in France after visiting her relatives in Canada. Eliza remained slim at an event in a shopping mall on 21st July 2018 and did not look like pregnant at all.
Eliza rejected to disclose the contract duration and wages and explained the reason for leaving TVB was due to requesting for additional personal time and visiting her family in Canada during her free time. It was unrelated to baby thought but she revealed that her husband had started the baby plan.
When the organisation committee requested Eliza to choose a cake with pink or baby blue colour for expecting Leanne Li (李亞男), she chose pink colour initially but changed to baby blue colour eventually. Eliza even called Leanne’s baby as “Bless”.
