Fred Cheng (鄭俊弘) attended the 5th anniversary year of his fans club on 7th July 2018 and sang 13 songs during 2013 The Voice of the Stars (星夢傳奇) contest to more than 100 fans. He felt overjoyed that his fans kept increasing and might be filming series if Fred did not participate in The Voice of the Star contest. Fred disclosed he will be releasing his new album in August and might be shooting drama after completing the promotion campaign. When asked if he will approach the film producer just like Jinny Ng (吳若希), Fred said: “Not really. I usually say my expectations and ideas to Herman Ho (何哲圖). It is fun to film series and my last drama is Provocateur (與諜同謀).”
