The press conference for 2018 Ms Hong Kong beauty pageant (2018香港小姐競選) was held on 24th May 2018 and it released the admission details and promotion video clips. Ms former Hong Kong, Grace Chan (陳凱琳), Louisa Mak (麥明詩), Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇), Veronica Shiu (邵珮詩), Juliette Louie (雷莊𠒇), Regina Ho (何依婷), Emily Wong (黃瑋琦) and Boanne Cheung (張寶欣) were present as well.
Grace joined showbiz for 5 years and showed her new hairstyle. She remarked it had been 5 years since she changed her hairstyle and had the same image at 17 years old. Grace is currently 27 years old and it marked 10 years for her.
When asked if her boyfriend, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) liked her new hairstyle, Grace said: “He loves it and it matches me. I ask him if I look younger and he says I already look young and need not cut such hairstyle. (Worry about the appearance gap is growing bigger?) It is not what he meant. He is being humorous and every girl feels happy upon receiving compliments.”
Also, the organisation committee prepared a birthday cake for Tiffany who turned 21 years old and received kisses from her colleagues.
