TVB actor Jason Chan (陳智燊) is rumoured to leave TVB lately and based on Wikipedia (維基百科), his contract with TVB ended in end June 2018. The reason behind is he plans to work as YouTuber and take care of the family after his wife, Sarah Song (宋熙年) is expecting. Hence, many television fans feel it is a pity.
Has Jason really left TVB? He said during an interview with HK01 (香港01): “Nope. We are currently liaising. (Wikipedia stated that you have left TVB?) It is really funny.”
40 years old Jason added that he joined TVB immediately upon returning to Hong Kong and treated it as his family: “We remain in a good relationship. TVB Executives treat me very well. (When is your contract ending?) It does not matter and the future is the most important. We are currently negotiating and it is inconvenient for me to reveal too much details. (How about your career?) I want to try different work aspects.” Anyway, it is possible to see Jason’s new series again.
