Jazz Boon (文偉鴻) is pointed to use the original cast team of A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄) series for his new drama (曼谷唐人街). The cast team includes Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Philip Ng (伍允龍), Grace Wong (王君馨), Ngo Ka Nin (敖嘉年) except for TV Queen, Nancy Wu (胡定欣). Elaine accepted an interview by HK01 (香港01) in relation to the new series: “There is a schedule booked for the drama and I know Joel Chan (陳山聰) is shooting as well. (Is Nancy filming it?) You have to ask Nancy and the film producer.”
Elaine admitted that she looked forward to shooting the series: “I am looking forward to it if part of the cast team. I feel happy working with Jazz and love his series. (Fine with shooting action scenes?) Yes. I am training my stamina in gym now. (Acting as a couple with Joel again since both shoot The Unholy Alliance (同盟) drama together?) Yes. We are familiar with each other and have established rapport. In addition, everyone likes to see us acting as a couple in The Unholy Alliance drama. (The netizens support you to become the female lead.) Thank you for the supports. I already feel contented to film the drama and will continue to work hard. (Did the film producer reveal the location shooting may take place in Bangkok?) No idea as I have not discuss with him yet.”
Other than shooting drama in recent years, Nancy tries to venture into movie industry and perform stage play. The new film, Men on the Dragon (逆流大叔) starring her as the female lead received good reviews and sales results. Francis Ng (吳鎮宇) even promised to invite Nancy as the female lead if shooting another film, Women on the Dragon (逆流大嬸) in the future. Hence, it is highly likely that Nancy may follow the footsteps of Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and has successful achievements if leaving TVB. As for Grace Wong, she had not received the notification and will inform everybody if she was part of the cast team.
