
JO1 have canceled their appearance on August 19th at ‘KCON 2022 LA‘ to be held in Los Angeles, California.
According to the group’s official website, 5 out of 11 members recently tested positive for COVID-19. After Sato Keigo first tested positive on the 12th, the other members were tested confirming Kawanishi Takumi, Kinjo Sukai, Kono Junki, and Mamehara Issei‘s positive diagnoses.
Consequently, the members will be recuperating under guidance of the medical institutions involved. Their cancellation for ‘KCON LA’ was decided in compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines in Japan, South Korea, and the United States. “We apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused at this time to everyone looking forward to the event as well as to all persons concerned,” they stated.
