Karena Ng (吳千語), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Jennifer Yu (余香凝) and Fish Liew (廖子妤) were present at a fashion event at Causeway Bay on 26th March 2018. It was Karena’s first time to meet the media after her separation with Raymond Lam (林峯) and she looked calm overall. She felt fine and admitted their separation happened some time ago. Karena had been working continuously last year and thanked everyone for the concern. She will be taking a break lately and filming drama, variety show and web series later.
Satisfied as a single woman
Karena had established consensus with Raymond whom announced the separation news but she rejected to reveal additional details as feared of saying wrong things. When asked if it involved a third party, Karena replied it was their personal affair and hoped to look forward and focus on her career now. She did not know Raymond’s new love, Carina Zhang (張馨月) and declined to reply about others’ affair. Reminding about her new rich boyfriend, Karena emphasised she had little suitors, kept a distance from her male friends outside and loved her current life as a single woman.
Checking if they seldom spent time together led to their break up, Karena said: “It is already over. (Is it related to his family?) Nope. It is our personal affair.” Karena’s family was not worried about her and she will go for vacation with her friends during her free time. When the reporters mentioned about the announcement made by Raymond on that day, Karena went to watch her idol, Jay Chou (周杰倫)’s concert and they were pointed to use the song to convey the message. Hence, Karena clarified she did not choose the song and all Jay’s songs were love songs. Lastly, she hesitated before answering yes when asked if she remained as friends with Raymond.
Charmaine Sheh felt fortunate to have ticket from Dayo Wong
During an interview, Charmaine Sheh felt lucky to have ticket from Dayo Wong (黃子華) and say: “I have one ticket as I know he is opening concert beforehand and request for one ticket from him. He then told me to dream about it.” She revealed everyone kept asking her for tickets and received 50 texts daily and finally switched her mobile to silent mode. When the media asked about her excuse to reject people, Charmaine requested Dayo to add rounds and the executive producer was in the same situation as her but felt happy for him as he received many supports. Reminding about Dayo’s plan to withdraw from the singing industry, Charmaine felt it was alright as he pondered for a long time: “He is not retiring anyway and may have other plans instead.”
Jennifer Yu planned to lose weight
Jennifer expressed she needed to continue working in Japan and almost failed to wear the dress as she ate too much and needed to lose weight now. Thus, she restricted her diet and only ate vegetables in the hotel for the last few days. When asked if her boyfriend, Carlos Chan (陳家樂) felt unhappy for spending less time with him, Jennifer replied they were busy working but will try to have dinner together. As for Fish, she will be filming drama in Taiwan at a later time and hoping to visit the museums instead of shopping since she is familiar with the country.
