24 years old Karena Ng (吳千語) and 38 years old Raymond Lam (林峯) announced their separation and ended their 5 years relationship officially in March 2018. Although he tried to salvage their romance, but Karena remained unmoved by him and was pointed to date a rich man’s grandson, Brian (施伯雄). Karena did not deny it at the time and they were at the understanding stage.
On 7th July 2018, an Apple Daily’s (蘋果) reader exposed that Karena and Brian fell in love with each other last year and sat very close during a birthday party. Her half body was near Brian’s chest and their friends were aware that they were a couple. The reader said: “We are shocked as Karena is still having a relationship with Raymond at the time.”
On that night, Karena shared photo of a bouquet of roses on Instagram with some words in the green colour background on the left corner. Upon looking at it closely, she tagged “brian_sph” secretly and they had been showing concern for each other. Despite the break up with Raymond, Karena continued to share photos such as delicious food and the song lyrics (分分鐘需要你) while eating. Looks like she is unaffected by the separation at all.
As Karena and Brian were in love passionately, they took photos together when going everywhere. On 26th May 2018, they went for water skiing with a group of friends and their friends used symbols to block their faces when uploading the photos. Although Karena and Brian sat far away from each other in the group photo, but it was obvious that Karena had an enjoyable time upon posing a V sign.
In addition, Brian added many hearts dropping down on his Instagram story once the news from Apple Daily was released less than 30 minutes. He deleted it immediately and it appeared that he tried to handle his romance in low key.
As for Karena, her manager replied to Apple Daily: “Karena is currently working in overseas and we have no reply to her personal affair.”
