TVB actress Ali Lee (李佳芯) resigns from new drama, The Spirits (靈戲逼人) suddenly. The senior management is forced to have a serious discussion and decide Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) takes over her role at eleventh hour. During the promotion activity on 27th May, she said: “When I received an official notification, I had no idea that I was Ali’s replacement and will not ask at all. I accept the company’s arrangement and try to read the script now, as the filming will commence next week.”
She continued: “This arrangement is normal and I do not mind being the replacement. I will cherish every opportunity especially playing supporting to lead roles slowly. Hence, I will give my full efforts.”
