Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), Matthew Ho (何廣沛), Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) and others were present at the worshipping ceremony for TVB new series, Big White Duel (白色強人) on 9th April 2018.
As Kenneth is not acting as neurosurgery specialist, Cheung Yat Kin (張一健) in The Hippocratic Crush (On Call 36小時) drama but a different role character this time, he clarified it was 2 different roles and Ali admitted she was confused during the filming: “I call his real name at times and need to change it.”
Subsequently, Kenneth expressed his desire to become gynecology specialist so as to see pretty women. He also praised there were several beautiful actresses in the cast team and Matthew, Roger and himself had 2 pretty girls each. He will have relationship scenes with Natalie and Ali but no kissing scenes and exposed Roger for having passionate scenes with Kelly and Ashley Chu (朱智賢) instead. Roger defended himself: “It is already cut and leave it to the movie version. I have no passionate scenes and it is a pure and warm romance. Perhaps Kenneth is jealous of me. Haha!” Roger had to focus on memorising his dialogues and converse with the real neurosurgery specialist and use the equipment: “I am not scared of blood and puke several buckets earlier. It is worse than acting as a lawyer and the dialogues consist of many English words. Kelly’s English is good and I will get her to teach me later. It becomes her fault if I say it wrongly.”
Kelly welcomed Roger to consult her and when asked if she will approach him to teach her Cantonese in return, she said: “My Cantonese is poor and there is no embarrassment to ask Roger. It becomes his fault if I say it poorly.”
Since Ali revealed she will faint upon seeing blood, she had to film an operation with blood scene as a doctor in the series: “It turns out that I am afraid of seeing my own blood and not others. I fainted once as my finger was bleeding while making salad once. Anyway, I am fine when seeing blood splashing scene.”
