Leo Ku falls down on the stage and continues his concert

Leo Ku (古巨基) held the second session of his concert at Hong Kong Coliseum at night on 11th May 2018 and a small accident happened after singing two songs. He fell down when the production team kept the aeroplane (prop) on the stage and the lights were switched off immediately. It made the whole audiences worried as a result. Leo appeared again after 15 minutes and said: “Not to worry, I am fine. Thank you for waiting for me and the god will bless me. Let me start again. It has been 7 years since I step into Hong Kong Coliseum and I will try my best to perform well in order to repay everybody. Thank you.” From the surface, he looked normal and did not have any obvious injury. Leo then sang the song (必殺技) and the audiences rooted for him, but he kept touching his neck when leaving the stage and it looked like he was in extreme pain.

EEG’s senior management, Mani Fok (霍汶希) replied via text after understanding the situation: “Leo falls down from the aeroplane (prop) and fortunately, it is a minor injury. Perhaps his neck is injured and everyone rushes to look at him in Hong Kong Coliseum. He is singing now and I will tell him to seek treatment in hospital. I do not think it is a serious injury.”

Leo’s good friend, Stephen Chan (陳志雲) watched the first session of the concert and was the first to know about his injury although he was absent on the second session. He told Apple Daily (蘋果): “I know about it and my friend watches his concert. I am worried about him and fortunately, Leo resumes his concert.”
