The movie king, Louis Koo (古天樂) is well-known for his deep passion for filming movies for many years and has been investing several films in recent years. On 10th July 2018, Hong Kong Arts Centre (香港藝術中心) announced that the cinema at the Central will be renamed as Louis Koo Cinema (古天樂電影院) from 19th July 2018 and the first film airing will be Men on the Dragon (逆流大叔) invested by Louis. It is evident that Louis has a heavy influence in the movie sector.
On 10th July 2018, Louis replied through the company: “I witness many sincere work in the movie industry but it has no chances to air in the cinema. I keep thinking about the ways of allowing the films to broadcast in the cinema and it is a good opportunity to collaborate with Hong Kong Arts Centre. Hopefully everyone will support Hong Kong films.”
