New action cop film, The Trough (低壓槽) directing and starring Nick Cheung (張家輝) will be airing in the cinema soon. The female lead role, Maggie Cheung (張可頤) promoted the film in Guangzhou and Dongguan with Nick and many fans turned up to support them.
In fact, Nick and Maggie paired up as a team was considered familiar to the audiences in Hong Kong as they acted as a bickering couple in Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love (十萬噸情緣) and A Smiling Ghost Story (衝上人間) drama. Hence, she looked forward to their next collaboration and Nick remarked that the old incidents seemed to happen lately: “Normally, the director looks for an actor to act Maggie’s role character but I like to think out of the box and believe Maggie can handle the role character well. She is a good and refined actress who is suitable to film this movie.”
When asked about her thoughts about Nick, Maggie said: “I know him since he starts to act and he is more mature after a long period of time. He is meticulous towards the cast team’s performance and balances both actor and director works well.”
