Nancy Wu clarifies she is good friends with Owen Cheung

Nancy Wu (胡定欣) is pointed to develop feelings for her filming partner, Owen Cheung (張振朗) while shooting Justice Bao: The First Year (包青天再起風雲) drama. When asked about her new romance during the dinner party for Deep in the Realm of Conscience (宮心計2深宮計) series on 25th July 2018, Nancy replied it was amusing and did not expect the audiences and fans monitored the artistes’ daily lives. She realised any of their actions could cause misunderstandings easily and said: “I do not give him any birthday cake and he does not accompany me to watch Pal Sinn’s (單立文) performance. We only know each other after shooting Justice Bao: The First Year drama and work together happily. He is very focused on his work and considered one of the potential actors in the next generation.

Nancy also urged everyone to refrain from linking her male friends to become her rumoured boyfriends as it was time consuming to handle the gossips. She clarified she was good friends and colleague with Owen: “We are friends only and please stop acting this way. (Wish to date?) Meeting the right person depends on the destiny. (Make the first move?) I will only take the initiative when meeting the right person. (Accept brotherly and sister romance?) I tried it before. Peter So (蘇民峰) pointed that I have strong facial features and suitable to date younger guys. Age is not a problem and what matters most is the communication.”
