Netizens finds it funny when Michael Tao calls Kenix Kwok as “Jessie”?

Some people believe old series is more exciting and interesting than current drama. Detective Investigations Files II (刑事偵緝檔案II) drama is rebroadcasting lately and many people are watching it. It involves a love triangle between Michael Tao (陶大宇), Kenix Kwok (郭可盈) and Amy Kwok (郭藹明) while  Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文) will begin to appear after the next two episodes. The netizens also found out the way Michael called Kenix’s role character name, Jessie was weird while watching the series.

At midnight on Facebook, Akina Fong (方健儀) shared photo of the drama and left a message: “It is too exciting and I watch two episodes until 3am in the morning. Jessie, Jessie…… Is it that hard to pronounce her name?”

It then reminded one netizen that her hubby called Jessie as (遮匙) while watching the drama at the time and it was unexpected to her to keep it as a memory. Another netizen commented that Michael called Jessie as (啫時呀) whenever he was unhappy. Some netizen pointed it was funny and could be requested by the director or it was simply his pronunciation.

In addition, another netizen discovered Michael called Kenix as “ah Jie” (阿婕) in Detective Investigations Files (刑事偵緝檔案) drama but called her as Jessie in Detective Investigations Files II series instead. Ram Chiang (蔣志光) also called Kenix as Jess several times but did not retake the scenes.

Lastly, some netizen criticised that the school did not teach him/her about English pronunciation and Akina was recalled of her schooling days: “My teacher teaches me before and it does not really matter.” That netizen emphasised his/her school did not teach about pronunciation during his/her era.
