Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼) left an online message that she felt upset that one of her good friends rejected to give her the blessing a few days ago. The netizens suspected that the person she was referring to was Rainie Yang (楊丞琳) who was absent at the party in US. When mentioned about her friendship with Gillian, Rainie said at an activity on 14th June 2018: “It is nonsense and pointless to continue it. I will definitely attend her wedding in Hong Kong in December and give her a red packet as money is the best gift.”
Rainie did not know Gillian’s fiance, Michael Lai (賴弘國) but feel very touched upon receiving photos about the wedding party and listening to Charlene Choi’s (蔡卓妍) speech. Asking about her turn, Rainie said: “I have no idea.”
