Huang Xiaoming’s (黃曉明) wife, Angelababy (楊穎) is suspected to have special privileges in the Chinese variety show, Keep Running (奔跑吧). Zheng Kai (鄭愷) and Sha Yi (沙溢) fell into the swimming pool countless of times while Angelababy only fell into the water once. Some netizen criticised Angelababy: “Keep Running show does not suit you and please go back to your princess world!”
It turned out that Angelababy noticed the comment and declared her innocence by explaining that she had menses while recording the show online on 21st May 2018: “I hope to forget the negative comments and transform into positive energy. I had menses on that day and used to go into the water during the period but it happened to be the first day and I did not feel very good. I will not sit on that chair if I lack of courage to play the game. Feeling cold and scared is definite as I am clueless about the words and actions to make me fall into the water. I realise the brothers really take good care of me and feel warm after the game.”
Angelababy also included photo of herself with fiery red lips and heart symbols. Many fans supported her by commenting that the world was too harsh to the ladies, only the lades understood the menses pain and it was too dark.
