Owen Cheung (張振朗) joined TVB in 2011 and finally promotes to second lead role from an “extra” after fighting for 7 years. It is commonly understood that he wants to handle his relationship low key but shocking to see that his relationship becomes separation news upon his announcement. Owen admitted to his 3 years ended romance with 29 year old Apple Chan (陳芷尤) a few days ago.
On 12th April 2018, a media reported that Owen and Apple decided to go for underground relationship due to his busy workload and not to affect their careers. However, Owen was surrounded by many girls during the filming which acted as the catalyst and caused insecurity to Apple as a result. As Owen was getting busier, they seldom spent time together and marriage plan was impossible. Although Apple emphasised she remained friends with Owen and shared some photos at times, but she was discovered to look unhappy at the street while chatting on the phone throughout and it appeared that she had not let go completely. As for Owen, he was busy filming Justice Bao: The First Year (包青天再起風雲) drama, had several scenes and a group of people were accompanying him. Looks like he is less lonely after all.
