Pat Ha is criticised harshly by netizen: Looking too beautiful is my fault

52 years old Pat Ha (夏文汐) has a “brother and sister” romance with 37 years old Chris Lai (黎諾懿) in TVB series, Daddy Cool (逆緣). Terminally ill Chris falls in love with Pat and manages to move her eventually, and she accompanies him until he passes away in the drama. It is supposed to be a sad and touching love story but the audiences dislike it and it resembles a “mother and son” romance.

Apparently, Pat did monitor the negative comments. On 6th May 2018, she was criticised by a netizen harshly for her poor acting skills, stiff expressions and failure to maintain her skin well on Weibo. Pat left a message: “Why do you scold me harshly?” She also added 3 symbols with tears and a photo of her crying in the drama. Pat wrote that looking too beautiful was her fault and it seemed that she was rebutting that netizen. Many netizens told Pat to ignore it and she remained a goddess to them.
