Pinky Cheung (張文慈) joined showbiz through ATV Miss Asia Pageant in 1996 and worked for TVB 2 years ago. She also starred in Deep in the Realm of Conscience (宮心計2深宮計) which was currently broadcasting. Pinky accepted an interview at the radio show (1圈圈 星光背後) lately and when mentioned about being “frozen” by ATV after revealing the details about drug and rape trauma in an interview which shocked the world world at the time, she said: “It is no longer within my control to talk about the trauma and they bring it up again recently. I do not want others to assume that I am using it as promotion tactic. At the point, I feel very ugly, unhappy and terrified. Pinky’s parent filed for divorce when she was 4 years old and her grandmother took care of her 2 younger brothers and herself. As her family was not well-off, Pinky decided to join showbiz to support her family. However, she was “frozen” by the company and had zero income. Thus, she had no choice but to film Raped by an Angel 3: Sexual Fantasy of the Chief Executive (強姦3之OL誘惑) film directed by Wong Jing (王晶): “I am young and have no sense of security at the time. I assume there is no chance for on-screen performance if reject to film the movie. Who wants to head for this direction unless you have no choice? Honestly, I feel unhappy during the filming and lament about the ups and downs in my life. I head towards the wrong direction many times.”

I have been single since believing in Christianity and not worried about it, because I can have a colourful life and living in happiness is the most important.”
