Ron Ng (吳卓羲) attended an opening ceremony of a food ingredient store (煮回家) opened by his cousin at Tai Wai on 23rd May 2018. He had intention to start a food business and Michael Mui (苗僑偉) invited him as a business partner lately: “He is in Canada and does not care about time zone. I love to cook noodles and seafood and agree when he asks me if I am interested to open a steamboat restaurant.”
Ron revealed a master advised him that he was unsuitable to start a business this year and will treat it as an investment only: “I am a sleeping partner and will not interfere in the operation. What am I going to do if I make a loss? Haha. We are planning to ask Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Eric Tsang (曾志偉) to join us and it should involve around 6 to 7 digit. It is safer if Eric is the biggest shareholder and he will ensure our money is in safe hands.”
When mentioned about Flying Tiger (飛虎之潛行極戰) drama starring Michael, Bosco and himself and it exceeded the online click rate in China at 3 billion, Ron dragged Michael into the water: “We are filming the sequel in end 2018 and hopefully the responses will be better. I believe Michael has more pressure than us.”
