Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) took his girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) to an opening ceremony of an interior design firm opened by his good friend on 22nd July 2018. Both flirted with each other openly during an interview and Ruco did not mind appearing at the activities as a couple. He said: “I feel happy for my good friend opening a firm. I return from Xiamen on that night and my friend suggests to take Phoebe along depending on her schedule.” When asked about the fee, Phoebe replied they were good friends and it was reasonable as a couple team, considering buy one get one free. Ruco added: “I do not mind it and we are usually together at the company’s events. As for other activities, my friend must pay for it and it does not make sense if I need to pay with my own money.”
When asked if Ruco intended to marry his girlfriend, he said: “Yes. It is every man’s wish and let’s leave it to destiny. It is not surprising if we suddenly get married tomorrow.” Phoebe then took the opportunity to promote Succession War (天命) drama starring Ruco: “Let’s wait for the “fate”. The official has many wives and it depends on who is the first one that he wants to marry.” He said: “Perhaps you are the one making the decision.”
Mentioning about the rumours related to Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Grace Chan (陳凱琳) were getting married in August, Ruco said: “I give my blessings to him if it is true. I definitely attend if the wedding is conducted in Hong Kong. (Receive any invitation from Kevin?) Jazz Lam (林子善) said it is a secret and there must be a reason behind it. (Announce graciously when getting married in the future?) We must respect our families regardless of personal affairs and marriage thought. Not announcing it does not mean narrow-minded.”
