34 years old Stephy Tang (鄧麗欣) is rumoured to date 29 years old Wang Zi (邱勝翊) from Taiwanese boyband, Lollipop (棒棒堂) earlier. Although both companies denied it, but Stephy admitted to the romance and requested for privacy at an activity on 15th July 2018.
Stephy said: “I usually handle my relationship in low key as it is our personal affair. There is nothing to hide including romance in showbiz and handling it in low manner is to protect our romance. Hope everyone will give us privacy and develop our relationship. (Together since holidaying at Ko Samui in April?) Yes. Please give us some privacy.”
Stephy admitted that she knew Wang Zi for a long time but unfamiliar with each other until Cherrie Ying (應采兒) invites them for dinner. When asked if Cherrie became their matchmaker, Stephy said: “I have no idea.”
Reminding that Wang Zi was younger than her by 5 years old, Stephy replied it did not really cross her mind and the power of love was strong in 2018. Mentioning that she needed to travel between Taiwan and Hong Kong frequently, Stephy said: “I am a frequent traveller and even receive award in New York earlier.
