The White Storm 2 film: Andy Lau and Louis Koo compete their acting skills

The White Storm 2 (掃毒2) film directed by Herman Yau (邱禮濤) and the film producer was Andy Lau (劉德華) finally begun the shooting a few days ago. Some netizens took photos of them including Louis Koo (古天樂) working in Hong Kong but did not see Michael Mui (苗僑偉) and Cherrie Ying (應采兒). The film budget is set at $2 hundred million and the locating shooting takes place in Hong Kong and Philippines. Although it is a sequel, but it is based on a new story and Louis acts as a drug dealer while Andy portrays as the financial guru with black triad background and it results in conflicts. Michael acts as a cop who is arresting them and the main plot line focuses on 3 of them fighting against each other.

Daniel Lam (林小明) expressed that Benny Chan (陳木勝) directed the first film and Herman became the director for the sequel. As the cast team did not involve Nick Cheung (張家輝) and Sean Lau (劉青雲), they requested the screen writer to draft a new story and Andy will be filming Shock Wave 2 (拆彈專家2) movie after that.
