TVB Weekly magazine is no longer publishing; Ali Lee is worried about retrenchment

Ali Lee (李佳芯) attended a cosmetic brand event at Admiralty on 23rd August 2018. Mentioning that TVB announced about earning profits, she felt happy with the current status and dared not ask for pay rise. Ali believed it was the best to maintain her productivity and hoped TVB would improve the staff benefits such as giving money and increasing leave entitlement so as to boost the staff morale. Revealing that TVB would be stopping to publish TVB Weekly (TVB周刊) soon as it changed into an online version, Ali was worried about retrenchment: “Isn’t the company earning money? I am clueless at answering if the company makes money and retrench staff as it does not make sense.”

Although Ali was currently busy shooting new drama, Assassin (殺手), but she managed to watch Story of Yanxi Palace (延禧攻略) with more than 10 episodes during her free time and steal acting tips as well: “As an artiste, I look at the plot line, costume, make-up and background setting. Wu Jinyan (吳謹言) has good affinity with the audiences and is very attractive that make the audiences like her.”
