TVB new drama, Daddy Cool (逆緣) achieved the highest ratings record at 29 pts in the first week. Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) treated Rosina Lam (林夏薇), Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿) and Joel Chan (陳山聰) to dinner on 11th April 2018 and denied he was a lucky star. He believed 29 ratings pt was satisfactory and renewed his contract with TVB for filming 1 series per year despite the high salary in Mainland China. Wayne resumed his filming in China on 12th April 2018 and said: “I am Hong Kong actor and my roots is here. (The ticket sales of your good friend, Dayo Wong’s (黃子華) concert is controlled by black market?) I do not buy any for myself but reserve some tickets for my friends only. Hopefully he will give one ticket to me.”
