Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) promoted Daddy Cool (逆緣) drama at radio station on 9th April 2018 and expressed the response was satisfactory and the audiences loved to watch amusing scenes between David Chiang (姜大衛) and him.
As Wayne’s contract with TVB will end on May 2018, he has not renewed it with them: “The company gives me lots of freedom and salary increment. It is hard for me to reject them. I only need to film 1 drama per year and can decline it if unsuitable script. I am a sentimental person and do not have any hatred towards the company. In addition, my affinity with Hong Kong audiences resemble to neighbours and they call me “cheung jai” (祥仔) in the public. It seems that we know each other but not in actual fact.”
