Wong Ka Wai is arrested; Steven Ma says they are colleagues only

Steven Ma (馬浚偉) filmed the show (同理‧繼續走) in the afternoon on 18th August 2018. When mentioned about the director and actor, Wong Ka Wai (黃嘉威) for the stage play were arrested due to conning underage girl to shoot photo album, Steven replied the opposite party was part of the cast team for the stage play, Two English Renderings of Xu Zhimo’s Chance (偶然‧徐志摩): “My friend forwards the news to me this morning and it looks like him but I am uncertain. I read the news again and do not expect he meets such encounter. I cannot give my opinion as unclear about the whole situation.”

When asked about his impression of Ka Wai, Steven believed his remarks was unfair to him as they interacted during work only and hoped the court would give him a fair verdict.

Mentioning about the main focus of the show which was related to society, Steven responded there was 7 topics such as disability and mood disorder. It will be airing in different television stations and when checked about the investment, he replied it was invested by a boss while Steven used his time and efforts. He added the production budget was low and showing realistic stories were the most important.

As Ka Wai and Charmaine Li (李思欣) were graduated from The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in Hong Kong (香港演藝學院戲劇學院), Charmaine replied she was unfamiliar with him and felt shocked upon knowing it.
